I just got my first ever iBook and I'm having problems displaying Hebrew and Arabic langauge pages on the internet. I added these languages to OS X's settings but IE still seems to ignore that. How to add Arabic support?
The encoding menu doesn't even show them as options, what's worse, I tried adding them to the IE language section but they weren't options. Use Netscape 7 and OS 10.2 and it will work. Opera 6 (http://www.opera.com) has been reported to work too. IE 5 for Mac does not support Arabic or Hebrew.

My understanding is that before IE5 came into being, one had to have Arabic IE on Arabic Windows. With IE5, Arabic Language Support took care of that. If Arabic Language Support is properly installed, then when you look under Fonts in Tools | Internet Options, you see the default font for that particular language
